Minutes - p e2 110 40 October 17, 1978 FEDERAL REV. SHARING & (r. 1979 BUDGET PUBLIC HEARING Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. Mr. Wurl reported that the total re- venues for 1979 less transfers was $6,322,046.00. Expenditures less transfers: $5,903,235.00. Federal Revenue Sharing portion of the budget is anticipated at: Revenues ; $40,800 Expenditures: $40,500 Mr. ►hurl reported that the City has dropped 2.7 mills and the fire district will be picking up that plus alittle more. Mr. Peter Garcia, Tri City Counciliag Service, asked about his request for $3,000 to help defray costs of their servides which are extended to persons within the City of Louisville. Mr. Wurl responded that the Council chose not to include the request in the budget. Mr. Garcia requested that he be sent a letter stating that the request was not included in the 1979 budget. There were no other comments. RESOLUTION NO. 32 Mr. t?url read Resolution No. 32, Series ADOPTING THE 1979 BUDGET 1978, adopting the 1979 budget. Councilman DelPizzo moved that Resolution No. 32, be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Kilker. Roll call. Berry yea, DelPizzo yes , Kilker yes , Meier yes, DiCarlo no. Motion carried. RESOLUTION NO. 33 Mr. Wurl read Resolution No. 33, Series LEVYING TAXES 1978. Councilman Meier moved that Resolution No. 33, be adopted. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. ORDINANCE #622 All members of Council had before them FIRST READING a copy of Ordinance #622, appropriating MONEY APPROPRIATIONS monies for the 1979 budget, for their review and files. Mr. Wurl read the ordinance on first reading. Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance No. 622 be ordered published. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried.
