The areas included reinforced concrete <br /> wells, reinforced concrete support pads, installing steel support beams in <br /> the basement and crawl space area, installing steel pipe supports, and <br /> cleaning shimming the exsisting single beam in the basement. All of the <br /> above mentioned categories are to be accomplished in order that the majority <br /> of the dead load on the exsisting foundation would be transferred from the <br /> foundation to the new interior support system. The engineers estimate for <br /> the work outlined was $13,600.00. There were four sets of bid documents <br /> taken out after five days of advertising in the Daily Journal and also the <br /> Louisville Times and only two bidders. <br /> FIRM BID <br /> *CALM. Construction $8,068.50 <br /> Golden, Colorado <br /> Jicinsly Construction Company $13,800.00 <br /> Mestminister, Colorado <br /> *Recommended Contractor <br /> C.W.M., the low bidder, has submitted the appropriate bid bond and <br /> the required performance bond and payment bonds will accompany the properly <br /> executed contracts upon final approval by City Council. <br />
