Mr. Wur1 •stated that the vacuum sweeper would not be good for this area, and also the Murphy sweeper are not common in Colorado which may create a problem when pare are needed. After discussion Councilman Caranci moved that Council approve the purchase of the Mobil sweeper in the amount of $44.318. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion carried. WATER RIGHT LEASE Mr. Wurl stated that the City has pur- MC GINN DITCH chased water shares which they can not use at the present time and recommended to Council that they lease the 1.5 shares of stock in the McGinn Ditch to Mr. Bill • Suitt* for irrigation. Mr. Wurl noted the advantage to the City is that the water is put to beneficial use which will help the City when they transfer it. Councilman DelPizzo moved that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign the lease agreement for the 1.5 shares of McGinn Ditch stock to Bill Suitts for the 1979 irrigation season only. Se- conded by Councilman Meier. Motion carried. CORRESPONDENCE Mr. Wurl reviewed correspondence. Councilman Berry moved that the City Administrator' s report be accepted and kept on file. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. COUNCIL COMMENTS WIDENING OF SOUTH BOULDER Mr. Wurl stated that the City has been ROAD working towards the west on widening South Boulder Rd. FENCE AT MINERS FIELD Councilman DiCarlo asked about the re- placement of fence that was put up by the parties installing the walk. Parks & Rec. Direct. Stahl stated that the fence was needing replacement and the City would be paying for it. Councilman DiCarlo felt it should be the responsibility of the person who removed the fence to do the work.
