Councilman Meier moved the notice be published and. the .public hearing be set for July 17, 1979, for the Lu:•:e'ia Socity special events liquor license application. Seconded by Coun- cilmen DiCarlo. Motion carried. ORDINANCE NO. 651 All me.b ers of Council had before them FIRST READING a copy of Ordinance No. 651 for their WATER TAP FEE INCREASE revie-:: and files. Attorney Joss read the ordinance on first reading by title only stating the the increase would be $2,200. Councilman DelPizzo voiced his disapproval of increase. Mr. '.' l responded stating that until in- flat'.on stops, the City must continue to increase their fees in order to pur- chase necessary materials as well as water rights to facilitate new devel- opments. Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance No. 651 be ordered published. Seconded by Councilman Kilker. Motion carried by a vote of 4 - 2.
