Item 6. D. Ordinance #731 - STC North Zoning - 2nd Reading, Public Nearing. E. Ordinance #732 - Amending the Electric Code - 2nd Reading. The explanation of this was in the last packet-relates to a requirement that we imposed in the previous amendment that we want to change. F. Ordinance #733 - Amending Street Cut Ordinance - 1st Reading. This is being amended so as to establish the permit fees at a level that will actually pay for the replacement of the street. We have been charging less than it is actually costing us to make the necessary repairs i.e. asphalt. G. Ordinance #734 - City Clerk's Salary - 1st Reading. The change here is the reduction in the salary that was discussed during the budget process. It is required that the salary be set before the next term of office takes over for City Clerk. H. Ordinance #735 - Write-in Candidates - 1st Reading. Some changes made in the election laws to deal with write- in candidates such as odd-ball names. They had an incident in Aspen where Sal Amender run for office and basically what it says is that unless the person is not a real person, this specifies they are a real person by signing an affidavit stating that they are accepting the nomination. If not the ficticious name will not appear on the ballot. I. Ordinance #736 - Mayor Voting - 1st Reading. At the last council meeting the city attorney discussed this and the Mayor requested it be placed on this agenda. The provision is that unless the Council passes an ordinance prohibiting the Mayor from voting that effective in the next term, the Mayor would be permitted to vote. J. Ordinance #737 - Water Tap Amendment - lst Reading. When we recently passed changes in the water tap fees, we neglected to include provisions for a 3" tap and we do have some calls for that, so we are asking Council to approve this ordinance that would provide in our list of tap sizes the 3" tap.
