MEMO TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL FROM: LEON A. WURL, CITY ADMINISTRATOR DATE: OCTOBER 1, 1981 RE: CITY COUNCIL AGENDA FOR THE REGULAR MEETING OF OCTOBER 6, 1981 Item 1. Self explanatory. Item 2. Self explanatory. Item 3. Items enclosed should be accepted and brought up under the proper head of business. Item 4. Council Items A. Amendment to Annexation Agreement - Centennial Valley We hope to distribute on Monday copies of this agreement which basically provides for the changes that are necessi- tated by virtue of the contract with the State Highway Dept. and Jacobs/Kahan re: the Superior Interchange. What we are requesting here is Council's approval of the amendment, which is required in order that we can proceed with the agreement on the interchange. B. Agreement Colorado Dept. of Highways - Jacobs/Kahan et al - City of Louisville - Superior Interchange. We hope to be able to distribute this Monday evening also. We are in the final phases of negotiations on the agreement and hopefully it will be ready for your review Monday even- ing; if not, early Tuesday so that you can review it before the council meeting. We are requesting council's approval and authority for the Mayor and the Clerk to sign the agree- ment, which should put to rest once and for all the Superior Interchange. The procedure then will be that the matter be submitted to the Colorado Highway Commission at their meet- ing on October 16. 1981 in Cortez, which I plan to attend, and hopefully they will approve it and we will get on with the construction of the interchange. C. November 3, 1981 Council Meeting - Cancel & Reschedule This is the night of the election and the meeting either needs to be cancelled or rescheduled. Should you choose to reschedule - Wednesday night. November 4, 1981 is about the only night we have available. I don't know that there
