O 410 <br /> 6/15/82 Page -5- <br /> Councilman Leary Requested that the City grant money be <br /> specified in the audit that the expenditures <br /> were tied to that money so that the City <br /> could have assurances that it 'wasn't being <br /> spent for other organizational purposes. <br /> Drumm stated this could be made readily <br /> available to the City, and as clarification <br /> for Councilwoman Morris stated that the City <br /> is now a member of the Chamber of Commerce. <br /> Councilman Leary Wished to clarify the statement in the letter <br /> that stated he or she cannot support the <br /> Chamber - he felt that all members supported <br /> the Chamber but were not dues paying members . <br /> Councilman Cussen Wished clarification if the amount to be <br /> contributed would be a separate item. <br /> Mayor Meier advised that it would be. <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF CHAMBER OF Councilman Cussen moved, Councilman Cummings <br /> COMMERCE LETTER AS AN that the letter from the Louisville Chamber <br /> AGREEMENT of Commerce be accepted as an agreement with <br /> the word change in item 2 of "dues" to grant. <br /> Question called for. All in favor. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Mayor Meier suggested council discuss the <br /> amount of grant to be given the Chamber. <br /> Councilman Leary Stated that the General Fund showed a deficit <br /> balance presently and was reluctant to make <br /> a commitment . <br /> Administrator Wurl to give the status of this <br /> fund at the next meeting. <br /> Dennis Drumm In answer to Councilwoman Morris ' inquiry <br /> stated 600 moos were printed at a cost of <br /> approximately $5 ,000.00, and stated perhaps <br /> their entire/this year would go for printing. <br /> budget <br /> CHESTNUT REQUEST - REQUEST Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Leary <br /> FOR LEAVE OF ABSENCE seconded that Laurie Chestnut be granted <br /> an additional 6-week leave of absence as <br /> recommended by the Director of Public Safety. <br /> Question called for.
