7/20/82 Page -8- ADOPTION Councilman Cussen moved. Councilman Ferrera seconded that Resolution #24 - Public Service Co. Special Review Use and Final Plat be adopted. Mayor Meier stated since he is an employee of the Public Service Co. he would abstain from voting on the resolution. Question called for. 5 Ayes - Meier Abstained. Motion carried . 5-l. RESOLUTION #25 - LAND & WATER Each member of Council had a copy of the resol- CONSERVATION PROGRAM ution. Attorney Rautenstraus read the resolution in its entirety. ADOPTION Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera seconded that Resolution #25 - Land and Water Conservation Program be adopted. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. ACCEPTANCE OF THE CITY Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Ferrera ATTORNEY'S REPORT seconded that the City Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT Recommendation was to award the bid to WATER TRUCK - AWARD BIDS ON the low bidder on the truck and low bidder TRUCK AND LEASE on the lease. Administrator Wurl stated the reason for his recommendation was to have funds from the Interchange Agreement available for open space acquisition. Funds for the lease-purchase of the water truck would be taken from the Revenue Sharing Fund. General discussion by Council favoring pur- chase of the water truck from the Interchange Agreement Jacobs/Kahan money. APPROVAL TO AWARD BID Councilman Leary moved, Councilman Cussen seconded that Council award the bid as staff has recommended but that the truck be purchased out-right with the Jacobs/Kahan open space money. Question called for. 5 Ayes - Councilman Fauson dissenting. Motion carried 5-1 .
