Page -3- D. Street Names - Historical Commission Recommendations. The Building Inspection Department informs us that they have run out of President's names. For sometime now the Historical Commission has been studying the possibility of utilizing local names for street names and their recommendation is enclosed for council's consideration. E. DRCOG - Certificates of Achievement - Acknowledgement We felt it would be nice if council would recognize those city employees who have received certificates of achievement for attending various classes and courses sponsored by DRCOG in 1982. F. Mulhouser Landscaping - Award Bid. Council authorized sometime ago to call for bids on the trees for 1983. Enclosed is a memo and a tabulation of the bids, and we are recommending that council award the bid to Mulhouser Landscaping who was the low bidder. G. Jicinsky Construction - Pay Estimate #4 - Community Bldg. A copy of the pay estimate as well as a memo from Director Hioco recommending council approve Jicinsky Construction pay estimate. H. Boulder County - Marshall Lake Agreement - Approval We feel that we have reached, at least tentatively, agreement on the Marshall Landfill remedial action proposal . Unfortunately I don't have an up-dated copy to send out today. I will try to get one between now and Monday and send you a copy. I. South Boulder - Via Appia - Main St . Improvements - Authorize Call for Bids We are requesting that council authorize call for bids on these projects . We have enclosed copies of map, and estimates detail- ing location and estimated costs of the various projects . Will have available at the council meeting copies of the total plans and specs and if there is any question, they are available in the City Engineer's office for your review. J. Main St. - Water Line Replacement - Authorize Call for Bids Once again we are requesting council 's authority to call for bids on the Main St. water main replacement project in the blocks of the downtown area as well as on the north end so that we can get the water line replaced before the street improvements scheduled for this summer constructed on the north end of Main St. Again we are enlosing a map and costs estimates outlining the area, as well as a memo. Also the detailed plans and speci- fications are available in the City Engineer's office should there be any questions and we will have copies available at the council meeting for your further review.
