Memo
Page -2-
ITEM 9. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT
A. ORDINANCE #808 - LOUISVILLE ASSOCIATES REZONING - FIRST
READING. SET DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING. This matter was
tabled from the last Council meetings and apparently a
request is forthcoming to table it once again. As of this
writing I do not have a copy of this letter. Hopefully, we
will have it by Friday to send out with the packet.
B. ORDINANCE #809 - REDUCING COMMERCIAL AMUSEMENT FEES -
SECOND READING. A copy is enclosed for your review.
C. RESOLUTION *41 - LOMBARDI FINAL PLAT. A copy of the
information relating to the Lombardi request is enclosed,
as well as Planning Commission recosmnmendation and staff
resommendation.
D. RESOLUTION #42 - HILLTOP FINAL PLAT AND P.U.D.
A copy of the resolution is enclosed as well as related in-
formation for your review; also recommendation from Planning
Commission and Planning Staff.
E. RESOLUTION #43 - OLSON FINAL PLAT AND P.U.D.
The information pertaining to this request is enclosed, as
well as recommendation from Planning Commission and Planning
Staff.
ITEM 10. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT
A. 96TH STREET STUDY PROPOSAL
For some years now we have had discussion with various agen-
cies relating to the need for a new interchange on U.S. 36
3t 96th St.
n recent months the discussions have centered on the specific
location of the interchange. Our position is that it should
be located where it would intersect with 96th St. extended,
and the City of Broomfield's position is that it should be
located further east.
It was decided that some outside agency should study the situ-
ation and develop a specific recommendation. The State pre-
ferred to take on the study. DRCOG has agreed to sponsor and
coordinate the study providing the funding came from local
sources.
Boulder County and Broomfield have agreed to participate.
We have also received an indication that CTC would participate
in our share. As of this writing we are not certain as to
what extent but I do hope to have that information by Tuesday.
I am enclosing a memo and outline of the proposal.
It is my recommendation that Council authorize our partici-
pation in the study and the cost be funded from the Major
Thoroughfare Fund.
riff
