Had a few words of advice, at any time if any members of the Council would like to visit with him on things that had taken place in the past he would appreciate it very much. Over the past 3 month* he had written about 3 speeches - trashed them all. Wished to say that he was leaving without any regrets, but ' had regrets that he was leaving a lot of friends behind and was sorry for that. It had been wonderful working with some of the people in City Hall - had all been very co- operative and appreciated that very much. Over the past years he had quite a few people supporting him and he appreciated that very much also. Of all the people that had supported him, one of the greatest was his wife, Vir- ginia. He then introduced his wife to the audience. Stated through all the ups and downs she had been a mainstay for him, which he appreciated very much. Remarked that every- one had their Harvey, who is an imaginary person that you talk to. He had his Harvey and wished to say one thing to Harvey before he left. Harvey go ahead and drain the swamp I'm still looking for alligators. RESOLUTION NO. 6 - POLICY Councilmembers had a copy of the resolution AGENDA INFORMATION and Attorney Rautenstraus read it in its entirety. ADOPTION Councilman Leary moved, Councilman Luce seconded that Resolution No. 6 - Policy Agenda Information be adopted. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. LETTERS OF INTEREST Councilmembers were provided a list of letters of interest for the Judgeship, Prosecuting Attorney and Boards, Commissions, and Committees. APPOINTMENT - PROSECUTING Councilman Luce nominated, Councilwoman Morris ATTORNEY seconded that Bruce Joss be appointed as Bruce Joss Prosecuting Attorney for the City. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously.
