Boulder County's Proposed Tri-City Plan. <br /> In the Spring of 1984. the Boulder County Planning staff <br /> started the update of a portion of the Boulder County <br /> Comprehensive Plan. Part of this process is to update the <br /> pains of the individual cities in the southeastern <br /> portions of the County. This area has come to be known <br /> as the Tri-City area. and includes Louisville , Lafayette, <br /> and Broomfield. <br /> Included for your review concerning the Tri-City plan , <br /> please find: <br /> 1 ) Background memo from Boulder County describing the <br /> update. <br /> 2) Attachments outlining the Comp Plans of cities and <br /> significant changes from previously adopted plans . <br /> 3) Proposed map. <br /> Barbara Bryan from the County will be present at the meeting <br /> to discuss the process . as well as answer any questions <br /> the Mayor and Council may have. <br /> I might add, the City of Louisville has been involved in <br /> the process from the beginning and you may recall last May <br /> was the month that I made the presentation to the Boulder <br /> County Long Range Planning Commission for the City of <br /> Louisville. <br /> B and C Pay requests recommended for approval . <br /> -Varra Companies Inc. - Via Appia Construction <br /> -Varra Companies Inc. - South Boulder Road construction . <br /> D and E - Water and Wastewater Plant Improvements . <br /> I asked Rocky Mountain Consultants to provide the <br /> information on these two items along with a progress <br /> schedule. <br /> Bid opening for the Water Treatment Plant Improvements <br /> Phase I is scheduled for Monday at 2 :00 PM. I will <br /> notify the Mayor and Council at Tuesday's meeting which <br /> bid is recommended. <br /> Non-Agenda Items <br /> -Sales Tax Information <br /> Curt is getting the background information you requested <br /> and will report at Tuesday ' s meeting. <br /> -Planning Commission invitation for a joint meeting on <br /> December 11th. <br /> Chairman Caranci inquired if a joint meeting of the Planning <br /> Commission and City Council can be arranged for Dec. llth . <br /> Discussion of pertient planning issues , namely Broomfield 's <br /> annexation along with other issues , the Planning Commission <br /> would like to discuss with the Council . <br /> -The Intergovernmental Agreement among Louisville . Lafayette , <br /> and the County is scheduled for signing on Nov. 27th at <br /> 4:00 PM, 5th Floor, Boulder County Court House. <br />
