Luc• felt that possibly the bartenders needed to be better versed on serving alcohol to someone already intoxicated and in a case where serving alcohol to a customer could potentially cause a incident. After a lengthy discussion, Council decided that they would approve the liquor license renewal on the condition that a letter be written to the owners stating Council's concerns with the increasing incidents and that a quarterly review would be made to evaluate the type and nueber of incidents and compliance with the liquor lows. Mayor Meier moved that the Track Inn Liquor License Renewal be approved with the condition that it be reviewed quarterly to deteraine if a public hearing might be necessary. Luce seconded. Fauson stated that he felt it was unjustifiable to have a quarterly review of this license. The motion was passed 5-1 with Fauson voting no. NEW LIQUOR LICENSE HOWARDS COAL CREEK RESTAURANT AND LOUNGE Morris asked that this be pulled for Council discussion as - she wants to clarify that the miscellaneous code violations stated in letters front the Chief Building Official and the Fire Marshall would be addressed before a Certificate of Occupancy was given. Also a special review use would have to be initiated for their intended outside eating area. The City Clerk was instructed to inform the applicants of all the violations and proper procedures for correction. Mayor Meier moved that the Howard' s Coal Creek Liquor License Public Hearing be set for May 7, 1985. Luce seconded and the motions was passed unanimously. SET DATE FOR COUNCIL WORK SESSION Upon Council' s recommendation, staff recommended a Work Session be schedule for Thursday April 11th to discuss the following items: 1) The City Residential Annexation Policy 2) Designation of • PUA for Louisville 3) Broomfield' s Annexation and PUA Submittal 5
