•
was excluded as it seems to have the same type of
impact other permitted uses would have. Handley
related that there is some room for interpretation
under Special Review Uses, however, the two items
that are specifically mentioned as examples inthe
ordinance not suitable even under Special R.Liev
Use are 1) miniature golf course, and 2) bowling
alley. Therefore, Council may choose to re-
evaluate the ordinance.
PUMPERNICKEL'S -- SET
PUBLIC HEARING FOR
THE LIQUOR LICENSE Rautenstraus reminded Council that at the last
meeting this license was approved as a renewal
when in fact it had expired, Therefore, this will
be a new license application and need a Public
Bearing set. One possibility which has been
requested by the applicant would be to have
Council act on this matter June 20, 1985, the
earliest it could legally be acted on under Public
Hearing proc*+ss given the proper notice
procedures. Cueseri asked that this item be pulled
from the Consent Agenda for discussion as he and
several other councilmeaabers would not be
available to meet on this date. Cussen: "I'm not
sure why it would be incumbent upon Council to
meet on an additional night because they forgot to
renew their license. If Council so chooses to do
that, fine but I will not be available that
evening." After discussion it was decided that
Council would be available the evening of June 25,
1985, for a Public Hearing combined with a Council
Work Session. Mayor moved that a Public Hearing
be set for June 25, 1985, as a continuation of the
June 18, 1985 Regular Council Meeting for
Pumpernickel's Liquor License. Morris seconded
and the motion was passed unanimously.
THE DEPOT - NEW LIQUOR
LICENSE APPLICATION A request to transfer the liquor license at The
Depot has been changed to an application for a new
liquor license. The class of liquor license is
being changed from that of a Tavern to a Hotel a
Restaurant License, Mayor Meier moved that the
application for a new Liquor License under the
name of Bumpers Grill, Inc. (formerly The Depot)
published and a Public Hearing be set for July 2,
1985. Cussen seconded and the motion was passed
unanimously. Portions of the application showed
inaccuracies with regard to shares owned by
partners. Morris asked that these discrepancies
be reviewed and corrected prior to the Public
Hearing.
3
