The bid opening revealed Concrete <br /> Structures, Inc. of Boulder, Colorado, was the <br /> low bidder at $278,800.00, and staff recostsrends <br /> that Concrete Structures, Inc. be awarded the bid. <br /> The building will be nearly all underground with <br /> the entrance being brick. Trees and bushes will <br /> be planted along this east entrance. The pumps <br /> are very quiet and will not be heard sore than a <br /> few feet away from the structure. <br /> Mayor Meier coved that the $278,800 bid be awarded <br /> to Concrete Structures, Inc. Morris seconded. <br /> Unanimous. <br /> AWARD BID - <br /> CITY SlOPS fund 2 ey conveyed to Council that bids were opened <br /> on Friday, June 28, 1985, and staff found the bids <br /> to be extremely high, with the low bid over <br /> $650,000 (well beyond the scope planned for this <br /> project).
