The bid opening revealed Concrete Structures, Inc. of Boulder, Colorado, was the low bidder at $278,800.00, and staff recostsrends that Concrete Structures, Inc. be awarded the bid. The building will be nearly all underground with the entrance being brick. Trees and bushes will be planted along this east entrance. The pumps are very quiet and will not be heard sore than a few feet away from the structure. Mayor Meier coved that the $278,800 bid be awarded to Concrete Structures, Inc. Morris seconded. Unanimous. AWARD BID - CITY SlOPS fund 2 ey conveyed to Council that bids were opened on Friday, June 28, 1985, and staff found the bids to be extremely high, with the low bid over $650,000 (well beyond the scope planned for this project).
