The stone house re-construction is on <br /> hold until proposed roads have been designated. <br /> The cupola on the Community Building is too costly <br /> at this time to replace. Caranci asked that the <br /> Historical Commission be put into the City's <br /> annual budget for the purpose of taking advantage <br /> of catching grant funding. Also, the Commission <br /> is asking that the lease of the auseuâ–  property be <br /> increased to a 99-year lease as opposed to the <br /> current 1S-year lease. Once again, for the <br /> purpose of grant funding, the extended lease is <br /> more desirable. <br /> Various methods of including the Commission in the <br /> City's Annual Budget was discussed by Caranci and <br /> Council as was methods of obtaining grants. <br /> Urnovits announced that twelve sites in the City <br /> of Louisville have been listed in the National <br /> Register of Historic Places. Through a $3,500 <br /> grant the Commission conducted a survey of the-. <br /> City's more important historic properties and then <br /> selected most significant properties to the <br /> National Register. Certificates and plaques will <br /> be presented to the property owners.
