•
AGENDA DESCRIPTION
On Nay 5, 1986, the City of Louisville made an agreement with the
Howard Ditch Company through an adjudication proceeding to change
the point of diversion of 36. 744 shares or 13.2278 cfs of water.
Safe yield of the described shares is 357 acre feet per year . In
order to utilize the water , return flow measuring equipment (i.e.
valves, meter , piping) must be installed downstream from the
Howard Ditch headgste. Return flow piping is designed to
transfer .73 efs from the Howard Ditch to South Boulder Creek
per the transfer decree.
For your convenience, find attached a sap showing the proposed
return flow line. Please note the return flow line crosses City
of Boulder Open Space Property. In order to facilitate
construction , certain fees must be paid to the City of Boulder in
the amount of approximately $6300.00. Attached find an agreement
prepared by Boulder that identifies the conditions under which
Boulder will grant an easement across their open space for
installation of return flow measuring equipment.
