The City, for considera- <br /> tions, will then give this land to the School <br /> Distrtct for the construction of • new elementary <br /> school. A draft agreement spells out the condi- <br /> tions under which the land Mould be transferred to <br /> the School District. The City would received use <br /> of school facilities and a soccer and softball <br /> field. The gym would be oversized to accommodate <br /> adults. In addition, the School District would <br /> pay for any increase in cost icr drainage up to <br /> $50,000. Staff recommends Council discuss and <br /> direct staff to finalise an agreement which would <br /> be brought to Council for formal approval. <br /> Council reviewed the draft proposal and felt it <br /> was a positiur move and commended staff for the <br /> elements contained in the agreement. <br /> Mayor Fauson moved that staff draft a final <br /> agreement and bring it back to Council for final <br /> approval. Mohr seconded. .;nanimous. <br /> RESOLUTION 444 -- LOUISVILLE TRADE CENTER PUD <br /> AGREEMENT (Anderson asked to be excused from the <br /> proceedings. ) <br /> Wanuah explained that the Louisville Tra3a Center <br /> Partnership requested an amendment to the Louis- <br /> ville Trade Center PUD '•±.ginally approv-: in .,uly <br /> 1984. The PUD shows two buildings at Griffith and <br /> . Highway 42. Phase I is completed and the proposal <br /> for Phase II (the lot further west) is to reduce <br /> the size ci *he building by 255 s.f. and provide <br /> 11 additional parking spaces. Planning Coeairsion <br /> recommended approval with two conditions% 1) <br /> landscaping be approved by City staffs and 2) a 15 <br /> ft. setback on street parking from Griffith street <br /> entrance be shown on the PUD. <br /> Mohr moved that Resolution 444 be adopted. <br /> Sackett seconded.
