property owner of site two. The County will
schedule the review of these applications in
April.
Mohr wanted to point out that this is for a
storage tank, not a water treatment facility, and
there is a significant difference between the two.
'The idea of a storage tank is exactly that and it
does not increase our capacity of treated water in
any way, shape or form."
Phare explained that it is in the City's best
interest that if an at-grade water tank is built
to up-size because the marginal cost is lower with
a combination of that size storage and smaller
pumping rates versus smaller storage and larger
pumping rates.
OTBER: Bundler stated that it is important to fill two
position on the CDHG Advisory Committee. The
former Chamber of Coaaerce Director served on the
Committee. When a new Chamber Director has been
selected, he would then be appointed to the
Committee. Rich Wanush is currently serving on
the Committee and will continue to assist the Com-
mittee. However, it is staff's recommendation
that someone other than a staff member be
appointed to the Committee. Mayor Pauson
directed staff to advertise for residents
interested in serving on the Advisory Committee.
PUBLIC COMMENTS Marge Haagoe, representing TV-17, stated that they
are a viable organisation and have broadcast
several programs including a brief interview with
Governor Roy Romer. Mayor Herm Fauson was
interviewed and the program was broadcast earlier
that evening.
COUWCIL COmMENTS AND COMMITTER
REPORTS Sackett will be serving on the Program Committee
for DRCOG.
Sackett also stated that when financial requests
come to Council, it is difficult to respond when
those things were not budgeted for the year. Be
suggested that presentations, especially something
the negritude of the Teen Center, be made at the
tine that budgeting hearings take place each fall
when all projects are considered and priortised.
Also, it would seas more reasonable to have the
Finance Committee involved in requests for funds
during the year
13
