The American
Legion's purpose is to participate in community
activities, i.e., the 4th of July fireworks
display, Legion baseball, etc. Sales of food and
alcohol at the Legion Post will enable the members
to continue participation in and the sponsorship
of these various activities.
Mayor Fauson asked for anyone wishing to speak
either in favor of or in opposition to the
issuance of this license. None.
Mohr strongly recommended Council's approval of
this application stating that the American Legion
has a long history of being very supportive to the
community.
Mayor Pauson closed the public hearing and called
for a motion.
Mohr moved that the application for a Club Liquor
License by the Walter Rhoades American Legion Post
111 be approved.
