0 CITY OF LOUISVILLE AUGUST 18, 1987 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING The City Council of the City of Louisville met in Regular Session in the Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Pauson called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following persons were present: Councilmemberst Randy Carnival, Steve Anderson, Alan Scarpella, Bob Szymanski and Mike Mohr Staff present: Terry Nundley, City Administrator Curt Rautenstraus, City Attorney Larry Lillo, Director of Community Services Rich Wanush, Director of Community Development Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety Also present: pas Ferris, City Clerk Absent: Councilman John Sackett William Hasson, Treasurer Sharon Asti-Caranci, Director of Financial Services APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Mayor Pauson asked that the Agenda be amended to include a) two street closure requests, b) Liquor License renewal for Johns, and c) Council direction regarding air traffic noise. Szymanski seconded to approve the Agenda as amended. Unanimous. APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT CALENDAR Mayor Fauson asked for any changes to the Consent Calendar. None. Mayor Fauson moved and it was seconded to approve the Consent Calendar as submitted. Unanimous. CONSENT CALENDAR: Approval of Minutes Approval of Bills Approval of Liquor License Renewal - Union Jack REGULAR BUSINESS; ORDIIIANCE #933 - G.O. WATER BOND ISSUE - PUBLIC HEARING Rautenstraus read by title only Ordinance #933, "An Ordinance authorising the issuance by the City of Louisville, Colorado, of General Obligation Water Bonds, Series 1987, in the principal amount of $2,980,000, for the purpose of providing financing for the City's acquisition and construction of cer- tain improvements to the City's Municipal Water System; prescribing the fora of said bonds; pro- viding for the levy of ad valorem taxes and the application of revenues derived from the water system of the City to pay the same; providing other details in connection therewith; and declaring an 1
