• <br /> Mayor Fauson closed the public hearing and called <br /> for a motion. <br /> Szymanski moved that Ordinance 11934 be adopted. <br /> Mohr seconded. By Roll Call Vote, Ordinance 11934 <br /> was adopted unanimously. <br /> ORDINANCE 1935 - AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 2.40 - CONSULTANTS - <br /> PUBLIC HEARING Rautenstraus read by title only Ordinance *935, "An <br /> Ordinance ascending Chapter 2.40 of the Louisville <br /> Municipal Code concerning consultants hired by the <br /> City. " <br /> Mayor Fauson opened the public hearing and <br /> certification of publication and notice of public <br /> hearing was established. <br /> Hundley explained that as was discussed at the <br /> August 18th Meeting, Mayor Herm Fauson recommended <br /> clarification in the procedure for evaluating and <br /> retaining those individuals and firms providing <br /> services to the City of Louisville, e.g., City <br /> Administrator, City Attorney, City's Water Attorney, <br /> engineering consultants, bond underwriters, etc. <br /> Mayor Fauson stated that this procedure is already <br /> in effect as fares the City Administrator is <br /> concerned and recommends that this same procedure be <br /> used for all City consultants. <br /> Mayor Fauson asked for anyone wishing to speak <br /> either in favor of or in opposition to this <br /> Ordinance. None. <br /> Mayor Fauson closed the public hearing and called <br /> for a motion. Mohr moved that Ordinance 11935 be <br /> adopted. Mayor Fauson seconded. <br /> Sackett asked how utilization of this procedure <br /> would be implemented. Who could call for the review <br /> - a single Councilmeeber or Council as a body. <br /> Mayor Fauson stated that Council as a body would <br /> have the authority to call for a review of a City <br /> consultant. A single Councilmember would ask <br /> Council consideration of this procedure and Council <br /> as a body would decide if it was appropriate. <br /> Mohr suggested that the primary intent was to have <br /> an annual revisw of all consultants. Mayor Fauson <br /> agreed. <br /> By Roll Call Vote, Ordinance 11935 was adopted <br /> unanimously. <br /> 3 <br />
