"loather than
hold up the project at a time when the weather is
very favorable...I would support the position that
us cove forward with the exception that you
suggested.
!Wadley suggested that the Mayor and City •
X k be
authorised to file subdivision agreenent vbJi b
would specify the contingency relating to the treat-
ment of the storm drainage area and allow 3oeart to
begin Phases I of the project.
Mayor Bauson stated that he is not sure why the City
would want to sod and irrigate a drainage area=
hopefully, Soaart can answer that at a Work Session.
At this point I would be against sodding and
irrigating a drainage area because we've never don.
that in the City before...'
Stahl stated that the City has done this before as
in the case of Lake Park.
Mayor tauson moved that the Council allow aoaart to
*mead with Phase I of the Ch.rryvood Subdivision
and authorise the Mayor and City Clerk to execute
the subdivision agresnsnt with the stipulation that
there would be a provision regarding the drainage
area and that issue would ba resolved prior to the
development of Phase II. Mohr seconded.
Sayaanski stated that he has concern over the issues
that are involved hers and not knowing the full
ramifications of that issues he would not be in favor
of this motion and foals it sore appropriate to wait
until Council reviews all aspects at a Mork Session.
The motion was adopted IS-1 with Ssyaanski voting no.
7
