The Chamber <br /> requested Council's approval of the Celebration <br /> and the necessary street closures. Activities are <br /> scheduled to begin at 8s00 a .n. and last until <br /> 41120 p.m . , with the Chamber providing the <br /> traditional food and activities. <br /> sugene Caraaci, tho director of the Louisville , <br /> Chamber of Commerce spoke on the planned <br /> activities for this years ' Pourtb of 0t2j ?. <br /> Cslebsstioa. Mono. <br /> Mohr moved and the Mayor seconded Council approval <br /> of the street closures and the schedule of <br /> proposed events for the celebration. To =T» $OV)J OP OPIRAT!CW - <br /> MOSILR PUSSCA*T Robin Paquet presented a request to extend the <br /> permitted boars of operation for her srobile bat <br /> dog cart. Its. Paquet has requested that the <br /> Monday through Saturday hours be adjusted to allow <br /> operation from 11 a.m. to 9 p.a. and that Sundays <br /> be included in the schedule of approved hours and <br /> days of operation. <br /> David Stahl presented staff recommendations on <br /> these proposals, stating that traditionally the <br /> downtown restaurants have satisfied the need for <br /> Sunday business which primarily consists of non- <br /> resident restaurant goers. Staff recommends that <br /> Ms. Piquet's days be extended to include Sunday. <br /> at the park areas but not in the downtown area. <br /> Staff also recommends that '! p.m." be changed to <br /> 't p.m. or dusk, whichever is earlier", for safety <br /> mammas when the days become shorter. <br /> Anderson caved sad Carnival seconded to grant Ms. <br /> Pa net's request for extending her hours and days <br /> of aperatios with the staff proposed amendments. <br /> The *otitis passed 4.1 with Sackett voting no. <br />
