The Chamber requested Council's approval of the Celebration and the necessary street closures. Paquet has requested that the Monday through Saturday hours be adjusted to allow operation from 11 a.m. to 9 p.a. and that Sundays be included in the schedule of approved hours and days of operation. David Stahl presented staff recommendations on these proposals, stating that traditionally the downtown restaurants have satisfied the need for Sunday business which primarily consists of non- resident restaurant goers. Staff recommends that Ms. Piquet's days be extended to include Sunday. at the park areas but not in the downtown area. Staff also recommends that '! p.m." be changed to 't p.m. or dusk, whichever is earlier", for safety mammas when the days become shorter.
