<br />ORDINANCE NO. 968 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CERTAIN SECTIONS AND <br />AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS, ALL IN TITLE 15 OF <br />THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, BY ADOPTING BY <br />REFERENCE THE 1988 EDITIONS OF THE UNIFORM <br />BUILDING CODE, THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE, <br />AND THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE; AND <br />ESTABLISHING CERTAIN BUILDING PERMIT AND <br />LICENSE FEES WITHIN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE. <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff has reviewed the 1988 Editions of <br />the Uniform Building Code, the Uniform Mechanical Code, and the <br />Uniform Plumbing Code, and recommends adoption of the same to the <br />City Councili and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ci ty Council of the ci ty of Louisville has <br />determined that said Codes should be adopted as set forth hereini <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that certain permit <br />and license fees relative to construction within the City of <br />Louisville should be amended as set forth herein. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section 1. Sections 15.04.010, 15.04.030, 15.04.50, <br />15.04.060, 15.04.100, 15.04.110, and 15.04.120 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Section 2. The following sections are hereby added to the <br />Chapter 15.04, Title 15 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> <br />15.04.010 ADOPTION There is hereby adopted as a part of <br />the Louisville Municipal Code by reference, the Uniform Building <br />Code, 1988 Edition, as amended herein ("Code"), published by the <br />International Conference of Building Officials, 5360 Workman Mill <br />Road, Whittier, California, to have the same force and effect as <br />if set forth herein in every particular. The subject matter of <br />the adopted code includes comprehensive provisions and standards <br />regulating the erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, <br />equipping, use, height, area, and maintenance of buildings and <br />structures for the purpose of protecting the pUblic health, <br />safety, and general welfare. Any reference to the Code within <br />this chapter shall be to the 1988 Edition of said Code. <br />
