APPROVE REQUEST TO MEG* LCC&TIOI - AMERICAS LIGIOSIULTAlat MODES <br /> POST 2111 MUM= LOUISVILLE TIN'S 9/19/92 AND LOCATION POSTED <br /> 9/19/92 - PUBLIC MUMS <br /> Davidson opened the Public Hearing on the application of the <br /> American Legion Walter Rhodes Post 2111 for a change of location of <br /> its Liquor License from 622 LaTargs &treat to 1130 Pins Street. <br /> Davidson: The Liquor Licensing Authority, <br /> which is the City Council, oust sat <br /> the boundaries of the neighborhood <br /> for the License. In the past, the <br /> boundaries have been set at the <br /> current boundaries of the City of <br /> Louisville. I cove that the <br /> boundaries be so set for this <br /> application. Is that* a second? <br /> Seconded by How ard. <br /> Davidson asked if thrra was anyone in the audience who objected to <br /> th* boundaries of the n *ighborhood being the current boundaries of <br /> the City of Louisville. <br /> NONE <br /> All in favor. <br /> Davidson further moved that the complete application fil *d with the <br /> City by this applicant, a copy of which had been made available to <br /> each aeabsr of the Authority, ba sad* a part of the record of this <br /> Hearing. Hs asked if anyone present objected to this motion. <br /> NONE <br /> Seconded by Lathrop. All in favor. <br /> Susan Griffiths, City Attorney, stated that in considering the <br /> application filed by the American Legion, the City Council is <br /> acting in a quasi - judicial capacity as the Local Licensing <br /> Authority of the City of Louisville under Colorado law. The <br /> Authority's decision swat be based on the *vid*nce presented to it <br /> during the hearing tonight and the legal requirements set out in <br /> state laws. Under *tate law, the Authority suet consider the <br /> reasonable r *quiroments of the neighborhood to which the applicant <br /> seeks to change its location and the desires of the adult <br /> inhabitants. The charactsr of the applicant is not an issue in an <br /> application for a change of location. <br /> Davidson asked for the r.pressntativa of the spplicantion to pleas* <br /> CORM forward to sake their presentation, <br /> 3 <br />
