Carol Purim*, Librarian, <br /> received second place at the CIA annual meeting, October 1992. Carol prepared the <br /> program with the theme "READiac ver a New World at the Library" to include the <br /> Summer Olympia, vacations and the Columbus Quincentenary. Nearly 700 children from <br /> the Louisville area participated in activities divided for preschool, elementary age and <br /> young adult There were 10 special programs and individual prizes sponsored by the <br /> Friends of the Library.
