ORDINANCE NO. 961 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 15 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE, 1987 EDITION. WHEREAS, the Building Department of the City of Louisville has reviewed the 1987 National Electrical Code and recommends adop- tion of the same to City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville has deter- mined that said Code should be adopted as set forth herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section~. Sections 15.48.010, 15.48.030, 15.48.040, 15.48.050 and 15.48.060 of the Louisville Municipal Code are hereby repealed. Section 2.. The following Sections are hereby added to Chapter 15.48, Title 15, of the Louisville Municipal Code: 15.48.010 Adoption. There is hereby adopted as a part of the Louisville Municipal Code by reference, the National Electrical Code, 1987 Edition, published by the National Fire Protection Association, Batteryroarch Par, Quincy, Massachusetts 02269, to have the same force and effect as if set forth herein in every particular. The subject matter of the adopted code includes the minimum standards relating to the installation of electrical conductors and equipment within or on public and private buildings or other structures, including mobile homes, recreational vehicles, and floating dwelling unitsi and other premises such as yards, carnivals, parking and other lots, and industrial substations. Any reference to the National Electrical Code within this Chapter shall be to the 1987 Edition and not to any previous edition of said Code. 15.48.030 Copies available at office of city clerk At least three copies of the National Electrical Code, 1987 Edition, as amended, of the National Fire Protection Association, all certified to be true and accurate shall be available for reference by any interested person between the hours of eight a.m. and five p.m. Monday through Friday, holidays excepted, at the office of the city clerk.
