Sisk stated that the figures in Table D needed to be recalculated, <br /> as they were calculated on $7, 725. <br /> Griffiths stated that because of the delay and adoption on 2nd <br /> reading under Table B, "effective January 1, 1994," if the Council - <br /> approved it, because of the emergency clause, it would take effect <br /> on February 15, 1994, which would need to be changed. Council <br /> needed to authorize her to change each one or the numbers under <br /> Residential to the appropriate percentage figure, prior to the <br /> final publication of the O. �- <br /> Howard modified his action to be an affective date or tebruary 13, <br /> 1954. Parks Planner, explained that in December he <br /> attended a meeting with the boulder County Consortium of Cities and <br /> the trails planners from throughout Boulder County. They discussed <br /> a master trails plan for boulder County. The State of Colorado had <br /> increased the State Trails Fund this year from S200,000 to $1.2 <br /> million, which is just for 1994. He reviewed maps and charts. He � <br /> stated that in applying for the grants, the City of Louisville <br /> - ' Parks Department would be applying for tha Davidson Kama Trail _ <br /> Grant and the weetern portion of the Coal Creek Trail. Boulder <br /> County Will be applying for the grant on the eastern portion of the � <br /> trail. He asked Council to pledge their support for these s� <br /> prc- j acts . <br /> ZZ major stated that each community would be providing letters of <br /> support. Boulder County will be submitting one in support of <br /> Lovisville's trails effort and vise - versa. All of the Consortium <br /> =*&,bars are going to be writing a letter from the Consortium to �a <br /> e149ort all of the trail efforts in the County. <br /> Davidson called for Council questions, comments, or motions. — <br /> Sisk moved that Council approve the two letters to be sent to the <br /> State Trails Committee supporting trails within the city of <br /> S� Lotisvills, as well as the other traii connections throug:tiout <br /> boulder County and authorize Mayor Davidson to sign the letter of <br /> support. Socond.nd by Howard. — <br /> Lathrop stated that it is very important for businesses to support �— <br /> the trails and communicate that to the various organizations that BE <br /> ' wake the grunts.
