<br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO <br /> ORDINANCE NO. ~, SERIES 1988 <br /> AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF THE CITY <br /> OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, REVENUE BONDS (BOULDER <br /> MEMORIAL HOSPITAL PROJECT) SERIES 1988A IN THE <br /> AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $10,000,000, AND THE <br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO REVENUE BONDS (BOULDER <br /> MEMORIAL HOSPITAL PROJECT) SERIES 1988B IN THE <br /> AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $8,000,000 ALL FOR <br /> THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING THE COSTS OF CONSTRUCTING <br /> A NEW HOSPITAL AND RELATED IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY <br /> OF LOUISVILLE; AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SAID BONDS; <br /> APPROVING THE FORM AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF <br /> MORTGAGE AND LOAN AGREEMENTS RELATING TO EACH <br /> SERIES AMONG BOULDER MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, PORTER <br /> MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AND THE CITY, MORTGAGE AND LOAN <br /> AGREEMENTS RELATING TO EACH SERIES AMONG BOULDER <br /> MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, BRIGHTON COMMUNITY HOSPITAL <br /> ASSOCIATION, D/B/A PLATTE VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER AND <br /> THE CITY AND MORTGAGE AND LOAN AGREEMENTS RELATING <br /> TO EACH SERIES BETWEEN BOULDER MEMORIAL HOSPITAL <br /> AND THE CITY; APPROVING THE FORM AND AUTHORIZING <br /> THE EXECUTION OF A BOND PURCHASE AGREEMENT, <br /> INDENTURES OF TRUST RELATING TO EACH SERIES AND A <br /> TAX REGULATORY AGREEMENT; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF MISCELLANEOUS DOCUMENTS AND INSTRUMENTS RELATED <br /> THERETO. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Louisville, Colorado (the "City"), <br /> a municipality and a political subdivision of the State of <br /> Colorado, desires to promote and stimulate the provision of <br /> more adequate health care for families and persons within and <br /> near the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, article 3, title 29, Colorado Revised Statutes <br /> (the "Act"), authorizes the City to issue revenue bonds and <br /> use the proceeds therefrom to pay for the costs of the <br /> acquisition, construction, improvement and equipping of <br /> health care facilities constituting a "project" under the <br /> Act; and <br /> WHEREAS, Boulder Memorial Hospital (the "Corporation"), <br /> a Colorado nonprofit corporation, presently owns and operates <br /> health facilities in the State of Colorado, and proposes to <br /> finance the construction, acquisition, and installation of a <br /> new hospital facility and related improvements in the City <br /> and to pay other "costs" of such facilities constituting a <br /> "project" within the meaning of the Act (the "Project"); and <br /> 1342K <br />
