<br /> AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE BY THE
<br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, OF ITS GOLF
<br /> COURSE REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 1988, IN THE
<br /> PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $4,340,000 FOR THE PURPOSE
<br /> OF CONSTRUCTING, INSTALLING, AND EQUIPPING A
<br /> MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE AND RELATED FACILITIES~
<br /> PRESCRIBING THE FORM OF SAID BONDS~ PROVIDING
<br /> FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE PRINCIPAL OF AND
<br /> INTEREST ON SAID BONDS FROM THE NET REVENUES
<br /> OF THE GOLF COURSE~ AND PROVIDING OTHER
<br /> COVENANTS AND DETAILS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.
<br /> WHEREAS, the City of Louisville, Colorado (the "City"),
<br />is authorized by ~31-25-201, et seg. , C.R.S. , to establish,
<br />maintain, and acquire such lands or interests in land, within or
<br />without the municipal limits of the City, as in the judgment of
<br />the City Council of the City (the "Council") may be necessary,
<br />suitable, or proper for, inter alia, park or recreational
<br />purposes~ and
<br /> WHEREAS, the City is also authorized by ~30-20-301 et
<br />seg. , C.R.S., to acquire, construct, maintain, add to, and improve
<br />any lands, buildings, structures, works, machinery, equipment, or
<br />facilities suitable for and intended for use as public property
<br />for public purposes, and to issue anticipation warrants for the
<br />purpose of defraying the cost of construction, erection, recon-
<br />struction, or improvement of existing facilities, such warrants to
<br />be payable solely from rents, royalties, rates, and charges
<br />derived from or rendered by the project; and
<br /> WHEREAS, the City has heretofore acquired certain
<br />property for the pUrpose of constructing an 18-hole municipal golf
<br />course, and has determined and hereby determines that it is in the
<br />best interests of the City and its inhabitants that anticipation
<br />warrants in the aggregate principal amount of $4,340,000 be issued
<br />for the purpose of constructing, installing, and equipping the
<br />golf course, acquiring, constructing, equipping, and installing
<br />related facilities, and other purposes set forth herein; and
