<br /> NO SECOND READING <br /> WILL BE RE-INTRODUCED AT A LATER DATE <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 951 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 2, CHAPTER 2.68 OF THE <br />LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING POSITION <br />CLASSIFICATIONS, AND SALARY SCHEDULE. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to pay a competitive and <br />equitable salary rate necessary to attract, retain, and motivate <br />qualified City personnel necessary to provide the quality of <br />services expected by the citizenry; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the changes <br />set forth below be made with respect to compensating employees. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to pay a competitive <br />salary rate necessary for comparable work in other public and <br />private employment in the area; and hire and maintain a quality <br />work force necessary to provide the quality of services expected <br />by the citizenry; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the changes <br />set forth below be made with respect to position classifications. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. Section 2.68.050 of Title 2 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code are hereby repealed. <br />Section 2. The following section 2.68.050 is hereby added to <br />Chapter 2.68, Title 2 of the Louisville Municipal Code. <br />
