RESOLUTION NO. <br /> SERIES 2001 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE BOULDER COUNTY CLERK AND <br />RECORDER FOR THE CONDUCT AND ADMINISTRATION OF A <br />COORDINATED ELECTION TO BE HELD NOVEMBER 6, 2001, AND <br />INVOKING THE REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES OF THE <br />UNIFORM ELECTION CODE WITH RESPECT TO SUCH ELECTION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City will hold a regular municipal election on November 6, 2001, as a <br />coordinated election pursuant to the Uniform Election Code of 1992, as amended; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the attached Intergovernmental Agreement By and Between the City of <br />Louisville and the Boulder County Clerk and Recorder for the Conduct and Administration of <br />the Coordinated Election to be held November 6, 2001 ("Intergovernmental Agreement") <br />provides for the conduct and financing of such coordinated election. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br /> 1. The proposed Intergovernmental Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Administrator and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the <br />attached Intergovernmental Agreement on behalf of the City of Louisville, except that such <br />persons are hereby further authorized to negotiate and approve such revisions to the <br />Intergovernmental Agreement as are determined necessary or desirable for the protection of the <br />City, so long as the essential terms and conditions of the Intergovernmental Agreement are not <br />altered. <br /> <br /> 3. Pursuant to Section 31-10-102.7 of the Colorado Municipal Election Code of <br />1965, as amended, the City will utilize the requirements and procedures of the Uniform Election <br />Code of 1992, articles 1 to 13 of title 1, C.R.S., with respect to the regular municipal election to <br />be held on November 6, 2001, and such election shall be conducted as part of a coordinated <br />election. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED this ~-~--Q day of ~ ,2001. <br /> <br />Tom Davi~son, MaS, or <br /> <br /> <br />
