<br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13 <br /> Series 1989 <br /> LOUISVILLE ARTS AND HUMANITIES COUNCIL <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville, <br /> Colorado, passed and adopted on April 4, 1989 Resolution No. 10, <br /> Series 1989, regarding the Louisville Arts and Humanities <br /> Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 10 provided for the appointment <br /> to the Louisville Arts and Humanities Council of five directors, <br /> each to be appointed to a three year term; and <br /> WHEREAS, the terms of the directors should be staggered to <br /> provide continuity for the Louisville Arts and Humanities <br /> Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 10 provided for review by the <br /> ci ty Council of proposed guidelines for distribution of funds <br /> prior to July 15, 1989; and <br /> WHEREAS, a more comprehensive review of said guidelines can <br /> occur after Boulder County issues its guidelines; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City CoUncil has reviewed proposed Bylaws for <br /> the Louisville Arts and Humanities Council; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the Louisville City <br /> Council, hereby confirm that the Louisville Arts and Humanities <br /> Council will consist of the five members previously appointed by <br /> the Mayor of the City of Louisville, but that said initial terms <br /> will be as follows: <br /> Two members' terms will expire on January 15, 1992, two <br /> members' terms will expire on January 15, 1993, and one <br /> term shall expire January 15, 1994. Once the initial <br /> terms expire, terms for all members shall be three <br /> years. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Louisville Arts and <br /> Humanities Council shall submit its proposed guidelines for <br /> distribution of funds prior to making any requests for funding. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Bylaws as presented are <br /> approved. <br />
