COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Mayer reported that the Recycling Authority has committed to the public service site and is awaiting <br />approval of their application from the City of Boulder. He offered to present Council's concems <br />regarding RTD service at an upcoming RTD Local Government Committee meeting in October. He <br />will be presenting Regional Transportation Task Force information to Louisville and surrounding <br />communities during October. <br /> <br />Sisk reported that he attended the 100 year commemoration of the Saturday Study Club at the library <br />earlier this month. He asked to extend special recognition to the members of the club and to the <br />family of Clyde Gelwick for their donation of $10,000 to the 501(c)3 organization Friends of the <br />Louisville Public Library. He suggested Mayor, Council and the City of Louisville send the Gelwick <br />family a letter of appreciation for their generosity. <br /> <br />Davidson stated that the Northwest Parkway/96th Street discussions are continuing. He and Bill <br />Simmons met with the CEO of Storage Tek earlier today to discuss a fair contribution in supporting <br />the project and land uses for some vacant land STK owns in Boulder County. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br /> <br />that Council adjourn (8:15 p.m.), seconded by Mayer.
