III; CitY<1
Louisville

COLORADO' SINCE 188Z

Resource ConservationAdvisory Board
Meeting Minutes

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010 - City Hall, 749 Main Street, Council Chambers

I. CALL TO ORDER: Annie Hughes called the meeting to order at 6:32pm.

II. ROLL CALL: Members present (in bold): Robin Cooley, Mary Ann Heaney, Annie
Hughes, Ryan Hughes, Andy Johnson, Arno Laesecke, Mark Persichetti, staff
liaison Tom Phare, City Council representative Dave Clabots.

III. DISCUSSION OF PRESENTATION TO CITY COUNCIL: Annie distributed LRCAB
goals from Vision Session to group. The list was accepted as prioritized list for council
presentation and as goals of board by unanimous vote. Arno suggested adding to list
of goals: 1) goals came from special meeting; 2) add the vision statement; 3) add
mission statement; 4) make a point that the board is very different now, and we all
show up working enthusiastically; 5) we set aside a Saturday for a special vision and
goal setting meeting. Mark suggested that we change the title to "LRCAB Goals for
Louisville," and the suggestion was approved with unanimous agreement. Rolls were
assigned to different board members for the question and answer portion of the City
Council presentation - only assigned members are to answer specific questions by
Council per topic. Andy is to present goals to City Council. Mary Ann is to write up
outlines on the different goal topics to be included in the presentation.

IV. APPROVAL OF CURRENT MEETING'S AGENDA: The agenda was approved with
no changes.

V. APPROVAL OF PAST MONTH'S MEETING MINUTES: The March minutes were
approved.

VI. PUBLIC COMMENTS NOT ON THE AGENDA: None.

VII. APPROVAL OF THE BY LAWS
Mark suggested that we delay the approval of the new bylaws until May 19th meeting;
Mary Ann second, and all approved. Tom suggested that we request a formal
adoption of the board under the desired name - Louisville Sustainability Advisory
Board.

VIII. JOHN BREAUX CLEANUP DAY
Mark reminded everyone that the John Breaux Cleanup Day is set for Saturday, April
24th. The tree planting will be at 1 Dam in the small park beside Old Louisville Inn, and
the LRCAB will be picking up trash along Empire Road. Tom suggested that the group
park at the City Shop off Empire Road. Tom will provide green vests, as available.
Mark has extra vests to offer the group, as well.

Public Works Department
303.335.4608 (phone)

City of Louisville
749 Main Street
303.335.4550 (fax)

Louisville CO 80027
www.ci.louisvilleco.gov
