--.,
I enjoy seeing Dick Biella's land from time to
time because it has cows grazing on it. There is
something about that, that seems it would be
nice to preserve. I would hate to see us just
reject an offer because it may be of benefit to
us to see horses and those things in certain
areas. This area I don't think people go to, to
walk the land. A lot of what we built was a
buffer area that we intend to leave agricultural
and if it has appropriate grazing on it, that
might be of benefit.
Sackett moved that Council grant the request made by Mr. John Evans for the
use of our open space for grazing purposes for three horses for the
appropriate fees with the understanding that there be an agreement
indemnifying the City of any additional risk, seconded by Szymanski.
Griffiths: We would need an agreement drafted between
the City and Mr. Evans, if this passed, and it
would contain a very strong indemnification
agreement as described.
Motion had been made and seconded. Roll call was taken. Motion failed 3-3
with Hornbostel, Howard and Davidson voting no.
RESOLUTION NO. 22, SERIES 1991 - 1991 BUDGET AMENDMENT -
PUBLICATION AND SET PUBLIC HEARING
Griffiths read by title only Resolution No. 22, Series 1991, "A Resolution amending the
1991 Budget by increasing revenues and appropriations in the General, Capital
Improvements, Conservation Trust, Capital construction, Water, Wastewater, and Golf
Course Funds for the City of Louisville, Colorado."
Colorado Budget Law requires that before you can adopt this Resolution it needs to be
published in full and set a public hearing.
