L Cityo <br />f <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />City Council <br />Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Friday, October 27, 2023 <br />Regular Meeting <br />1. Call to Order: Chair Leh called the meeting to order at 1:36 PM. <br />2. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: Chair Leh <br />and Mayor Pro Tern Fahey. Councilmember Kern was also in attendance as a <br />guest. Also present was Community Development Director Rob Zuccaro. Two <br />members of the public was present. <br />3. Approval of Agenda: Mayor Pro Tern Fahey made a motion to approve the <br />agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by Chair Leh. Motion passed. <br />4. Approval of Meeting Minutes: Mayor Pro Tern Fahey made a motion to <br />approve the meeting minutes of September 15, 2023. The motion was <br />seconded by Chair Leh. Motion passed. <br />5. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: None. <br />6. Staff Updates: <br />Director Zuccaro gave a brief update on Amendments to the BAP Ordinance. <br />City Council passed an ordinance codifying the practice of rebating consumer <br />use tax. He noted that there may be future amendments returning to City <br />Council. <br />Director Zuccaro continued with an update on the property at 916 Main Street. <br />The owner has submitted an application for direct financial assistance which will <br />go to the Louisville Revitalization Commission (LRC) for review and approval in <br />December. <br />Next, Director Zuccaro shared that the Recreation Services will be taking over <br />the management and operations of Old Town Skate, the City's ice rink.
