Property perimeter mowing is in the process and will be completed by November 1St <br />pending weather. The Wildfire Hazard and Risk Assessment for Public Lands Final Report was presented to <br />City Council on October 17, 2023 for review. Council was supportive of the report and <br />mitigation efforts completed by Open Space division in 2023. Wildfire Hazard and Risk Assessment and Louisville 2023 Fire Mitigation efforts were <br />presented to the Grassland Group on November 3, 2023. <br />a. The Grassland working group is an offshoot from the Boulder County Fire shed, <br />with an emphasis on grassland wildfire mitigation and management and is <br />composed largely of Front Range land managers. <br />4. Goats— Fuels reduction <br />a. Goat Grazing for the fall season is complete. The goats grazed approximately <br />18.17 acres with an additional day of grazing at North Open Space. <br />b. Staff has been working collaboratively with the National Resource Conservation <br />Service (NRCS) and Bird Conservancy of the Rockies to create a grazing <br />management plan as well as objectives and goals for continued grazing. <br />General: <br />City Council is tentatively scheduled to meet with OSAB on February 13, 2023. The goal <br />of the meeting will be for City Council to review OSAB's work plan and provide direction <br />on OSAB's proposed areas of focus. <br />2. The Warembourg fishing pond was refilled in mid -October. <br />
