<br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2023 BUDGET BY AMENDING
<br />APPROPRIATIONS IN THE GENERAL FUND, OPEN SPACE 8, PARKS
<br />FUND, HISTORIC PRESERVATION FUND, RECREATION FUND, CAPITAL
<br />PROJECTS FUND, RECREATION CENTER DEBT FUND, WATER UTILITY
<br />FUND, WASTEWATER UTILITY FUND, STORM WATER UTILITY FUND, AND
<br />GOLF COURSE FUND, AND ADDITIONAL ,APPROPRIATIONS WITHIN SUCH
<br />FUNDS AND ADJUSTING BUDGETED REVENUE IN THE GENERAL FUND,
<br />OPEN SPACE a PARKS FUND, RECREATION FUND, CAPITAL PROJECTS
<br />FUND, STORM WATER UTILITY FUND, AND GOLF COURSE FUND
<br />WHEREAS, the need exists to amend the 2023 budget by amending
<br />appropriations in the General Fund, Open Space & Parks Fund, Conservation
<br />Trust — Lottery Fund, Historic Preservation Fund, Recreation Fund, Capital
<br />Projects Fund, Recreation Construction Fund, Water Utility Fund, Wastewater
<br />Utility Fund, Storm Water Utility Fund, Golf Course Fund, and Fleet Management
<br />Fund and adjusting the budget revenue in the General Fund, Open Space & Parks
<br />Fund, Recreation Fund, and Golf Course Fund; and
<br />WHEREAS, the need to amend the 2023 budget arises:
<br />1. To adopt previously approved City Council operating adjustments to the
<br />2023 expenditure budget;
<br />2. To adopt Marshall Fire related operating adjustments to the 2023
<br />expenditure budget for items that staff did not anticipate, or were not
<br />measurable, at the time Council adopted the original 2023 budget;
<br />WHEREAS, funding for any increase in appropriations will come from
<br />new/increased revenue or from fund reserves.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
<br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO:
<br />.SECTION 1. That the 2023 General Fund appropriation be increased by
<br />$784,200, from $30,636,864 to $31,421,064.
<br />SECTION 2. That the 2023 Open Space & Parks Fund appropriation be
<br />increased by $635,000, from $5,711,746 to $6,346,746.
<br />SECTION 3. That the 2023 Historic Preservation Fund appropriation be
<br />increased by $500,000, from $718,775 to $1,218,775.
