RESOLUTION NO. 22 <br /> SERIES 2001 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PURCHASE CONTRACT TO BUY <br /> AND SELL REAL ESTATE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Louisville desires to purchase, for potential use for public <br />buildings and facilities and other governmental purposes, a parcel of land of 15.198 acres, more or <br />less, owned by The Archdiocese of Denver and located at the southeast comer of the intersection of <br />McCaslin Boulevard and Via Appia and legally described as Lot 1, Block 1, Saint Louis Parish <br />Subdivision, City of Louisville, County of Boulder, State of Colorado (hereinafter "the Property"); <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the owner of the Property has stated its desire to sell the Property to the City <br />upon the terms and conditions set forth in a mutually-agreeable Purchase and Sale Contract. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br /> 1. The proposed Purchase and Sale Contract between the City of Louisville and The <br />Archdiocese of Denver regarding the Property is hereby approved in essentially the same form as <br />the copy of such Purchase and Sale Contract accompanying this Resolution. <br /> <br /> 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute the Purchase and Sale Contract, except that the <br />Mayor is hereby granted the authority to negotiate and approve such revisions to said Purchase and <br />Sale Contract as the Mayor determines are necessary or desirable for the protection of the City, so <br />long as the essential terms and conditions of the Purchase and Sale Contract are not altered~ <br /> <br /> 3. The Mayor, City Administrator and City Staff are further authorized to do all things <br />necessary on behalf of the City to perform the obligations of the City under the Purchase and Sale <br />Contract, and to execute and deliver any and all documents necessary to effect the purchase of the <br />Property under the terms and conditions of the Purchase and Sale Contract. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of April, 2001. <br /> <br />Nancy Varra, C~y Clerk <br /> <br />Tom Davidson, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
