This project is a comprehensive survey of the Jefferson Place subdivision, the oldest residential <br />subdivision in Louisville, platted in 1880. This area was identified in our 2000 survey as having the <br />potential for a possible historic district. The subdivision contains 97 parcels, 87 of which have homes <br />that are over 50 years old, most date from circa 1900. <br />The project will include the completion of Historical and Architectural Inventory Forms (#1403) for 44 <br />parcels not previously surveyed. In addition, the project will include the completion of43Cultural <br />Resource Reevaluation Forms (#1405) for surveys completed in 2000. Since 2000 we have found <br />multiple errors in these original surveysand feel they need to be reviewed for accuracy. <br />The project will include the assessment of each parcel for national, state, and local landmarking and <br />assess the possibility of a historic district for the subdivision as a whole. <br />7.
