Board of Adjustment <br />Meeting Minutes <br />May 19, 2010 <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />a member of the Historic Preservation Commission, during the design stage of the <br />project. <br />Stuart inquired if the property had been historically landmarked. <br />E. Robertson stated it had been done prior to their purchasing of the home and the <br />Landmarking was one of the selling points for the purchase. <br />Public Present in Opposition of Application: <br />None heard. <br />Public Present in Favor of Application: <br />None heard. <br />Staff and Applicant Closing Comments: <br />No additional comments from either staff or the applicant. <br />Public Hearing Closed / Board Discussion: <br />Chancellor closed the public hearing. <br />Loeblich stated he agrees with the findings presented by staff. He also thanked the <br />applicant for working with the Historic Preservation Commission to maintain the <br />character of the home. <br />Malmquist, Stuart, Brassem and Chancellor stated their agreement with the comments <br />made by Loeblich. <br />Motion and Vote: <br />Loeblich moved and Fuller seconded a motion to approve the variance request for 1024 <br />Grant Ave. as presented by staff. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br /> <br />Chris Fuller Yes <br /> <br />Erik Jasiak absent <br /> <br />Gunnar Malmquist Yes <br /> <br />Horst Loeblich Yes <br />James Stuart Yes <br /> <br />Wayne Chancellor Yes <br /> <br />Larry Brassem, associate Yes <br /> <br />Motion: passed: 6 to 0 (1 absent) <br /> <br />Business Items for the Next Meeting – June 16, 2010 <br /> <br />The June 2010 BOA hearing is set for Wednesday, June 16, 2010. The <br /> <br />submittal deadline for an application to be heard at the June hearing is <br />Friday, May 25, 2010.
