Staff Report of Facts and Issues: Russ reviewed the parking staff report prepared by McMillan with the following discussion points:  The Planning Commission at the March 11, 2010 meeting approved a resolution recommending the following amendments to the Louisville Municipal Code: i. Increasing the cap on development of the westerly portion of downtown from 354,000 SF to 475,000 SF (excluding City owned buildings). ii. Reducing the downtown parking requirement from 1 space per 400 SF of development to 1 space per 500 SF of development for all uses except for residential and adopting specific residential parking requirements for the downtown area.
