considering significant changes to the Comprehensive Plan, then they may not want to move <br />forward with impact fees. <br /> <br />Public Comments <br />John Leary stated that the PCZD process is not being used correctly; he believes that the <br />current application of this process is not what the individuals who originated the process <br />intended. He expressed concern that the zoning process has gone in a direction that was <br />never intended and does not appear to be consistent with that part of the code. He <br />questioned whether determining the maximum ‘math build-out’ is useful information. He <br />questioned why the next review of the Comprehensive Plan is listed as 2008 when it is <br />supposed to be reviewed every two years. <br /> <br />Other Items <br />Mayor Sisk reminded Council of the Special Meeting for Ethics Training scheduled for 7:00 <br />p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 in the Courtroom in the new Police/Court Building. <br /> <br />City Manager Items <br />Julie Boyd distributed copies of the Advance Agenda and Meeting Calendar. <br /> <br />Bill Simmons reported that settlement documents for the Sawyer/Ehrman litigation are still <br />being finalized. <br /> <br />Bill stated that negotiations with Comcast are continuing and center around public access. <br />Comcast is proposing to close the public access studio no later than December 31, 2006. In <br />return for closing the studio, Comcast will provide a grant of no more than $50,000 and no <br />less than $25,000 for the City to use as it sees fit.
