<br /> ORDINANCE NO. 925 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17. 72 OF THE LOUISVILLE <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING USES PERMITTED IN COMMERCIAL <br /> OFFICE PLANNING AREAS IN PLANNED COMMUNITY ZONED <br /> DISTRICTS: AND DECLARING AN' EMERGENCY. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Louisville has previously adopted <br />ordinances governing Planned Community Zoned Districts: and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and the City Council <br />believe that the uses set forth as permitted in the commercial <br />and office planning areas should be amended as set forth in this <br />ordinance. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE: <br /> Section 1. The following subsections are hereby added <br />to Section l7.72.090(B) of Chapter 17.72 of Title 17 of the <br />Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> B. Uses Permitted. The following commercial and <br />noncommercial uses may be permitted within any planning area <br />designated "commercial" on the adopted planned community <br />development general plan: <br /> 18. Research/Office and Corporate uses, and facilities <br /> for the manufacturinq, fabrication, processing, or <br /> assembly of scientific or technical products, or other <br /> products, if said uses are compatible with surrounding <br /> areas. In addition, such facilities shall be completely <br /> enclosed and any noise, smoke, dust, odor, or other <br /> environmental contamination produced by such <br /> facilities, confined to the lot upon which such <br /> facilities are located and controlled in accordance with <br /> all applicable City, State, or Federal regulations. <br /> 19. Other uses as established by the City Council as <br /> found to be specifically compatible for commercial and <br /> office planning areas. <br /> Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are <br /> hereby declared by the City Council to be necessary to <br />the immediate preservation of the public health and safety be- <br />cause the financing and construction of certain projects within <br />the City may be affected if this ordinance does not become im- <br />mediately effective and therefore have possible financial <br />ramifications detrimental to the City, and therefore this or- <br />dinance shall become effective upon adoption in accordance with <br />C.R.S. 31-16-105. <br />
