City Council Finance Committee Meeting Minutes 07/19/2010 Page 2 of 3 Director, Beth Barrett reviewed with the Committee funding sources, the selection and purchasing processes and vendors used to purchase books and other library medium. Mayor Sisk encouraged the continued expansion of electronic medium and delivery methods. Ms. Barrett indicated that there are opportunities for the City to participate in demonstration projects and to be a community ambassador. The Mayor also expressed ideas for the library emphasizing Colorado history. DEBT SUMMARY Per the request of the Committee at the May 17, 2010 meeting, the Finance Director prepared a series of schedules summarizing all the outstanding debt issues. The Finance Committee expressed that they were pleased with the low six percent of general obligation debt to debt limit enjoyed by the City. BANKING SERVICES AGREEMENT The Finance Director presented to the Finance Committee the finalized FNB Standard Cash Management Agreement and an Amendment to the Terms and Conditions for Cash Management Services. The Finance Director informed the Committee that other pending agreements will be brought forward and presented to Council for approval including the Lockbox Operations Agreement, Wire Transfer Agreement, P-Card Agreement and Merchant Services Agreement. SALES TAX REPORT FOR THE PERIOD ENDED MAY 31, 2010 The Tax Manager presented the May 31, 2010 Sales Tax Report.
