<br /> A PETITION <br /> REQUESTING THE <br /> ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY <br /> TO THE <br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />Whereas, the City of Louisville is the owner of approximately 7.5 <br />acres of land adjacent to the existing city limits of the the <br />City of Louisville located within the SE 1/4 of Section 14, <br />Township IS, Range 70W County of Boulder, State of Colorado and <br />Whereas, it is desirable to annex said property to the City of <br />Louisville since it is intended to construct a water treatment <br />plant and related facilities for use by the City of Louisville <br />and it is necessary for the orderly provision of public services; <br />and <br />Whereas, the following requirements of the Colorado Revised <br />Statutes 31-12-104 and 31-12-105 exist or have been met: <br /> l. Not less than one-sixth of the perimeter of the area <br /> proposed to be annexed is contiguous with the City. <br /> Total contiguity equals 16.7% of the perimeter. <br /> 2. A community of interest exists between the area and the <br /> City, the area will be urbanized in the near future and <br /> is capable of being integrated into City services. <br /> This is not only demonstrated through the 16.7% <br /> contiguity but because this property is scheduled for <br /> the construction of a water treatment plant and related <br /> facilities. <br /> 3. No land held in identical ownership is being divided <br /> into separate parcels without the consent of the <br /> property owner. <br /> 4. No land in identical ownership containing 20 or more <br /> acres is proposed for annexation. <br /> 5. This property is not subject to any other annexation <br /> proceedings to any other municipality. <br /> 6. This annexation will not result in the detachment of <br /> any land from any school district; and <br />Whereas, the land to be annexed is owned solely by the City of <br />Louisville, exclusive of streets and public rights-of-way. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the petitioner hereby requests that the City of <br />Louisville approve the annexation of approximately 11.230 acres <br />of ground, including rights-of-way, located in the SE 1/4 of <br />Section 14, Township 1 S , Range 70W, County of Boulder, State of <br />Colorado. <br />A;~~~r>-- 2 /.?? / c?7 <br />Mayor .,...
