<br /> RESOLUTION #5 <br /> SERIES 1987 <br /> A JOINT RESOLUTION REGARDING BOULDER VALLEY <br /> PUBLIC SCHOOL'S LONG RANGE FACILITIES TASK FORCE <br />WHEREAS, the communities of Louisville and Lafayette <br />Colorado have a vital interest in promoting quality educational <br />facilities and programs within our respective communities, and <br />WHEREAS, the communities of Louisville and Lafayette are <br />within the boundaries of the Boulder RE-2 School District, and <br />WHEREAS, the future prospects of Louisville and Lafayette <br />children will be enhanced by the availability of quality <br />neighborhoods and community schools, and <br />WHEREAS, the Boulder RE-2 School District is involved in a <br />long-range facilities study, the results of which could adversely <br />impact education in the communities of Louisville and Lafayette, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, President Thomas Windham, members of the School <br />Board, and Superintendent Hager have been invited to speak at a <br />Community Meeting on April 15, 1987, at 7:30 p.m. at Centaurus <br />High School, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LAFAYETTE AND <br />LOUISVILLE MAYORS AND CITY COUNCILS that the public and parents <br />of Louisville and Lafayette be encouraged to attend the April 15 <br />Community Meeting in order to insure adequate information and <br />input regarding the future of our communities and children's <br />education. <br />PASSED AND RESOLVED THIS 7t:t.
