<br /> RESOLUTION NO.IO <br /> Series 1988 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> LOUISVILLE FINDING SUBSTANTIAL COMPLIANCE OF AN <br /> ANNEXATION PETITION FILED BY GEORGE F. MENKICK AND <br /> KYUNG S. MENKICK AND INITIATING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS <br /> FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY AND ESTABLISHING A TIME FOR A <br /> PUBLIC HEARING TO DETERMINE IF THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION <br /> COMPLIES WITH STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS. <br /> WHEREAS, under C.R.S. 31-12-108, the governing body of a <br /> municipality must initiate annexation proceedings, find <br /> substantial compliance of an annexation petition filed and <br /> establish a date, time and place to hold a hearing to determine <br /> if the annexation complies with statutory requirements; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville desires <br /> to utilize said statute with respect to the annexation of certain <br /> property described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution No. 19, Series 1987, was previously <br /> passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Louisville <br /> on August 4, 1987, but the hearing required by C.R.S. 31-12-108 <br /> was not held due to subsequently filed litigation; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br /> city of Louisville, Colorado: <br /> Section' 1. The City Council specifically finds the annexa- <br /> tion petition attached to be in substantial compliance with the <br /> requirements of C.R.S. 31-12-107 and that the annexation proceed- <br /> ings to annex the property described on Exhibit "A" have been <br /> initiated. <br /> Section 2. The City Council hereby establishes a public <br /> hearing to . determine if this annexation complies with Colorado <br /> Revised Statutes for March 15, 1988, at 7:30 P.M. at the <br /> Louisville City Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, <br /> Colorado. <br /> Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed <br /> to give all notices as required by statute. <br />
